In 2023, BT completed a comprehensive upgrade of the broadcast control room for Khabar, one of Central Asia’s leading television channels. The new studio features SONY HDC-3170 cameras supporting HD, HDR, and SDR formats, a VSS-21ProS teleprompter, Sennheiser G4 wireless microphones, an IEM personal monitoring system, and a Samsung LED video wall with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch.
At the heart of the infrastructure is the ROSS ULTRIX-FR5 router with integrated multiviewer and audio processing, paired with a Carbonite switcher and TD2 TouchDrive control panel. On-air graphics are powered by ROSS XPression, with recording and playout handled via Blackmagic HyperDeck.
The audio network is based on Dante, using a Yamaha TF-5 digital mixer and Ferrofish converters. Internal communication is enabled by the AEQ CROSSNET intercom system with TP8116 panels and XPLORER wireless beltpacks.
The facility is optimized for efficient live production and offers strong technological scalability for future growth.
