BT Implements Advanced Media Infrastructure for Halyk Arena in Almaty

BT has successfully implemented a next-generation media infrastructure for Halyk Arena — one of the most prominent sports and entertainment complexes in Central Asia, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Originally built for the 2017 Winter Universiade, the venue now hosts international sporting events, concerts, and large-scale public gatherings, with a seating capacity of up to 12,000.

As part of the project, BT engineered and deployed a centralized Single Media Platform — a unified system that brings together all key components of modern sports broadcasting. The platform integrates live video production, replay systems, real-time graphics, statistical data, scoreboard management, LED media cube control, and professional audio — all managed from a single, intelligent interface.

This comprehensive setup enables Halyk Arena to deliver world-class live productions, whether for local broadcasts or global audiences. The system supports automated workflows, dynamic sponsor activations, and flexible content delivery across in-venue displays and broadcast channels.

With this project, BT has set a new standard for intelligent, integrated arena broadcasting — combining technological innovation, engineering precision, and a deep understanding of live event requirements. Halyk Arena now stands as a model for future-ready sports venues across the region.
